Real estate experts pointed out that the recent reform to change freehold ownership law will contribute to a positive transformation of the real estate sector, where the beginning of the second quarter of 2019 shows increase in the movement of the sales and record the number of monthly transactions of about 1.2 billion riyals and 400 riyals a week.
The experts also predict that about 200 million riyals per week will be injected into the market as a result of the increase in the number of foreign purchases and investors.
According to the Ministry of Justice, the value of real estate transactions at the beginning of April 2019 amounted to more than one billion riyals and one half of the Qatari riyals.
